Monday
Today was intended to be a later start which in the end turned out to be even later due to two road traffic accidents blocking the route. Now the larder units are in place around the fridge freezer with one of them fully fitted with draws.
Whilst all this was going on I was wresting with technology in order to book a hair appointment. My hairdresser stopped trading on Christmas Eve due to circumstances beyond her control. I like to use Wella products and tracked down a salon that uses these. I had hoped to talk to someone over the phone but I got an answer phone message suggesting I could book online, hence my struggle with technology.
After the fitter left for the day we visited mum who was hearing voices telling her what to do and other strange things. We then dined in The Wickets Inn which serves good honest pub food.
Wrestling with technology? I know all about that
Even worse while I am waiting for the grandchildren to fly home from London.
I couldn’t just book an appointment. I had to choose a stylist, register an account and leave a deposit.
I started off on my iPad and got as far as realising I needed to make a bank transaction. I had to log onto my computer and start again because I know that is a safe place to use my bank details.
To add insult to injury, when I received the confirmation email it suggested I could just phone up if I needed additional information or to change anything!
I am so sorry to self-advertise, but my latest post is called “Migrants welcome to Australia – Bonegilla”. My bloody blog is still showing my last post
My feed reader always shows the latest posts from blog platforms.
I am a little behind with catching up with other blogs.
Technology is hard to wrestle with often I agree dear Cherie
Your kitchen looks amazing
Glad you visited your mom and had some nice family time as well
Hugs and blessings
Visiting mum is difficult at the moment. She is not herself.
