Hi Cherie, Great photos from Rochester. Interestingly a fellow blogger (on my sidebar) “Ramblings from an English Garden” also has some post about Rochester. Looks like it is somewhere we need to go.

Thanks for letting me know, I will check out those posts :-)

Rochester is a fascinating place, I was only there a short while so I only have a few photos. Still one or two more to come though ;-)

It is a fine looking clock Cherie and you have framed it as well as the bell tower and the weather vane nicely…
But do people actually come to this place with corn… to exchange them with other people for their bushels of corn:D… you Bitts have some strange customs lol….peter:)

  4. For some reason looking at this photograph, I imagine the beginning of an Hitchcock movie. I love how you frame the clock. :-)

A weathervane AND a clock! I like how the clock sits out like a sore thumb, Cherry. That’s different from what we see here in the Netehrlands with all our clocks set inside towers.

I love your photos of some most interesting architecture to be found all over the UK. Rochester is new to me so thanks.
