These old buildings hold so much history.
I am not sure when these building replace the White Horse Inn.

This is not the original building, I am not sure when this was built.
I think it’s been 500 years, Cherry, right, since the Reformation? Unbelievable how it has affected the world everywhere!
It is 500 years this year. I am not sure if the changes were for the better. The rifts and fighting have worsened and moved thoughts away from the original teachings of Jesus, not to mention the prophets that went before him.
Isn’t it amazing that Martin Luther thoughts were that important that is was world changing. I love the angle of the middle picture.
He was charismatic leading to a change in thinking.
This sits very well with Philine’s pictures (shutterchance) this week – all related to Luther
I have just had a look, a lovely series of photographs.
So what happened to the original inn?
Lost in fire?
I do not know…
Is the part of the building on the left a newer addition? It seems rather odd for the location of the window otherwise.
I am not sure how the buildings work in relationship to each other but I don’t think any of them are original.
